My wife Wendy and I took a vacation with some friends up to Northern California over the Labor day weekend to celebrate our 6th wedding anniversary, and also the first time in 5 and a half years that she has not been pregnant or nursing.

While we were in Napa Valley, CA we attended a wine class held by a French master wine sommelier named Gilles de Chambure.  It was a lot of fun, but as Gilles spoke all I could focus on was my first passion – how much what he was saying parallels to health and wellness through Chiropractic care.

Someone asked why wine bottles have an arch in the bottom.  Gilles taught us that an arch provides amazing structural stability for the bottle.  This is the exact same reason why we have a 63 degree arc in our neck when it is functioning properly-it provides amazing structural stability.

Next Gilles went on to explain how amazing science is and how it has helped produce amazing wines – but, he was sure to point out that all of the great technology wine makers and grape farmers use, pales in comparison to the human nose.  No wine tasting tool even comes close to the precision of the human nose and palate.

The reason this relates to Chiropractic is we recognize that each of us has an innate intelligence that keeps everything working properly - the best Doctor in the world is your own body, something science will never be able to duplicate!  Chiropractic helps keep you connected and functioning at your best levels!
