Happy Thanksgiving! It is only appropriate that I start this week by thanking you for spending a few minutes here with me each month-my hope is that over time you will gleam insights into a better way of living – a way of life that ignites the life and vitality inside of you.
This is a week that we tend to not eat so well. So, please take a minute to check out my detox soup recipe (and my Food Network wannabe skills) - this is such an easy way to cleanse your body in between holiday events this season.

Next, there is one more word that I want to focus on in this latest series. In my most recent emails I have introduced you to the mental impulse, and the word cavitation (thank you for all of you that have used that word recently – i.e. “thanks for the adjustment, that was a great cavitation!”)
I want to explain dis-ease – except it is not quite the word as you know it. When I say disease, most of you will think of the definition as “an abnormal condition affecting the body of an organism.”-that is not what I am talking about.
In Chiropractic, we recognize that our ideal physical, mental, and spiritual state is one of “ease.” That is the point of an adjustment – to keep your life force flowing and in a state of ease.
Therefore, when you are in a state of dis-ease, you have become disconnected – and often times this can happen for years or decades before you ever learn about the health problem that will eventually manifest when you are in a stressed out state. The disease will eventually come when life and vitality has been replaced with darkness and disease inside of your body.
The best way to fight the darkness, is to light a candle, or turn on the light. The best way to stay healthy, is the same way.
